Position Purpose:
As a member of the finance team, the Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and developing reports to support effective decision-making.
Principle Accountabilities
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely P&L statements, identifying key drivers and trends that impact financial performance.
- Work closely with the business to provide financial insights that support commercial decision making.
- Provide ongoing financial analysis to support business operations, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial models to support business operations, including pricing strategies, investment decisions, and resource allocation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiencies in financial reporting.
- Related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 3-5 years Finance experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop insights that support decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and learn and apply quickly.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel.
- Experience working in a commercial or business-facing finance function is highly desirable.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and a dynamic environment.
