Job Title: Manager, Seven Falls
Job Summary:

As a member of the Seven Falls team, this position will be responsible for directing and coordinating the daily operation of The Broadmoor’s Seven Falls ensuring a world-class attraction experience for patrons.

What you will be doing:
- Lead and supervise a team of 20-50 employees, depending upon the season.
- Interview, select, coach and discipline the team of the Seven Falls attraction.
- Work closely with any contractors and Broadmoor Team to ensure a successful and timely opening of Seven Falls for the 2024 season.
- Be available and present at all on-site private events to assist in answering questions, coordinating logistics, set-up, break-down, and provide general support for the overall guest experience.
- Develop and lead a team of service-oriented employees and work closely with The Broadmoor’s Human Resources Department to accomplish staffing and training.
- Refine systems and daily operational procedures for the attraction to create a world-class guest experience.
- Refine daily park hours of operation for the attraction based upon the seasons, weather, holidays, etc.
- Help develop, track and attain budgeted goals for the Seven Falls attraction.
- Coordinate projects with outside contractors or The Broadmoor Maintenance Department, as needed.
- Ensure all projects are completed to specifications, on time and on budget.
- Work in close partnership with Broadmoor Outfitters, the Cog Railway, Broadmoor Retail, Guest Services, Food and Beverage, and other Resort Departments to communicate, develop and execute a seamless guest experience at the attraction.
- Manage the operational and capital budgets for Seven Falls and focus on achievement of a positive cash flow.
- Coordinate the transportation and flow of the non-Broadmoor Park attendees from the Norris-Penrose Event Center parking lot. Maintain the welcome booth and patron restrooms at this location, as well.
- Work closely with the Cog Group Sales Team to cross-sell the attraction along with the railroad.
- Work closely with the Broadmoor Sales and Marketing and COG team to brand, market, position and promote Seven Falls as a unique area attraction for guests and for the public.
- Develop cross marketing, ticket packaging and special retail items with the COG Railway team for Seven Falls.
- Develop adult and children’s programming at the attraction to add value and extend the visit of the guest experience, i.e., nature tours, children’s panning for gold, historical lectures, etc.
- Respond immediately to guest complaints and concerns in order to resolve issues.
- Work closely with Broadmoor Loss Prevention, Hotel Managers, VP/Resident Manager and COG General Manager on any guest injuries and illnesses.
- Ensure that all special guests, VIPs, members of the Press, etc., are all communicated to the team and proper advance preparations are made.
- Schedule all staff in conjunction with forecasted business and the various seasons.
- Works with appropriate Broadmoor and COG Managers to coordinate and execute special events, large groups, and buy outs.
- Be familiar with all guest safety and Emergency Procedures and train staff in those procedures.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

What we are looking for:
- Minimum four years related management experience and/or training with two or more years in a senior level management position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred as this position may be driving guests, materials or other items throughout the park.
- Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
