Responsibilities:
Performs advanced oversight of financial and business services management for the Financial Management Division; policy development and interpretation; forecasting and budget analysis; legislative analysis, contract management, IT project management, and delivery, staffing resource allocation, purchasing, equipment, division safety, complex data and business analysis. Establishes policies and procedures, provides advice/consultation to the Deputy Division Director and ensures compliance with professional development requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Admin, Finance, Computer Science/Technology or related discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Undergraduate or advanced degree highly preferred.
Experience:
- 4 years transportation-related business or support operations such as IT project management and implementations, budget allocation, contract administration or business analysis. (Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
- Must have one (1) year supervisory/managerial experience. Project leader or lead worker experience may substitute for supervisory/managerial experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Sedentary work: Lift up to 10 lbs at a time and occasionally carry files/small tools
- Standing-prolonged periods of time
- Repetitive Motion-substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
