Department Summary:
The N111 Department’s mission is to provide thought leadership and data-driven analysis to enable the Department of the Air Force and the USSF to design, develop, acquire, and integrate future warfighting space force designs, including space system-of-systems architectures and space programs, in time to outpace accelerating threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Principal Resiliency Analyst, you will serve as the Space Warfighting Analysis Center's (SWAC) Missile Warning and Tracking Division (MWTD) Task Lead and primary technical contributor. The SWAC is the organization tasked with developing the USSF’s future force designs, recommended architectures, and mission capabilities necessary for success in future military conflicts. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of remote sensing and resiliency analysis to guide the SWAC MWTD Division's force design studies and evaluations, influencing billions of dollars in future investments and acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Engineer future MWTD architectures using experience, focused study, and analysis
- Evaluate architecture performance against agreed-upon figures of merit
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the MWTD Program Offices, assisting in their acquisition and sustainment activities for current and future programs of record
- Recommend solutions to acquisition requirements through focused analysis and study
- Providing technical insight to a diverse group of individuals comprised of government, FFRDC, UARC, and SETA employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Ability to possess/maintain a DoD Top-Secret Clearance
- Understanding of USSF organizations, space operations, and space systems
- Demonstrated expertise in resiliency analysis, remote sensing, and/or environmental effects therein
- Detailed knowledge of the MW enterprise (both current and future capabilities)
- Ability to work with highly dynamic, fast-paced teams comprised of numerous companies and organizations
- Understanding of threats to the MW mission (electronic, kinetic, cyber attack, etc.)
- Knowledge and/or experience with current MW modernization or sustainment programs
- Understanding of astrodynamics principles and their impact on the MW mission
- This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in the identified or a related field and 10 years of related experience
- Experience in nuclear effects analysis
- Experience working with general space and astrodynamics tools (STK, etc.)
- Experience working on programs with allied foreign nations
- Ability to code using C++, Python, or MATLAB
- TS/SCI Clearance

$165,000 - $206,000 - $247,000 Annual
