Department: Fulbright College Finance Team Support B
Summary of Job Duties: The Grant Accounting Manager reports to the Associate Director of Grant Administration for Fulbright College. This position will manage all post-award accounting and grant management activities for a large two-year grant from the State of Arkansas. The management of this grant includes, but is not limited to, coordination with Business Services to process purchasing, review and approval of all subaward reporting and invoicing, overall management of budget categories, coordination with the PI and other key personnel to update and manage project goals, assist with financial and project reporting, and assist with project-specific management activities as assigned. This position will also perform other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, general business, or a related field
- At least two years of experience in auditing, accounting or a related area
- At least two years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with financial management and reporting
- Experience with Workday accounting system
- Demonstrated experience working with sponsored research accounting
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and principles of accounting.
