Position Overview:

Raizan Solutions LLC is looking for a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to take on a leadership role, acting as the subject matter expert in U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting standards. This position will focus on researching and analyzing complex transactions, documenting the findings, and collaborating with multiple business units to provide clear, actionable accounting guidance.

Key Requirements:

Strong experience in technical accounting research.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in drafting detailed accounting memos.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Lease Accounting (ASC 842) is a plus.
A problem-solving mindset with a strong curiosity for research and analysis.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide expert technical accounting guidance on areas such as contracts, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and impairment reviews.
Lead projects related to complex transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and other high-level applications of accounting principles.
Specialize in lease accounting, developing deep expertise in this area.
Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring that all technical accounting matters are resolved efficiently.
Offer guidance and mentorship to team members in technical accounting reviews.
Clearly communicate accounting conclusions and their impact to various business and corporate teams.
Uphold and promote Tyson’s mission and values in a team-centric environment.

Additional Information:

Travel: 1-4 domestic trips per year.
Supervisory: While this role does not include direct reports, it involves close collaboration with various departments.
Work Environment: This is an onsite position at Tyson's Corporate Headquarters, with set working hours.
Additional Compensation: Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15%.
Relocation Assistance: Available nationwide.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical accounting, with a strong focus on memo writing.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and accounting research tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simplified manner.
CPA certification is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is considered an advantage.
