We are seeking a self-motivated Program Manager to join Seagate’s ESG/Sustainability Team. This position is responsible for leading end-to-end development of our annual ESG/Sustainability Report and sustainability disclosure regulatory filings including, but not limited to: CSRD, SEC Climate Disclosure, California climate reporting, and other emerging regulations. You will work closely with other members of our ESG and Sustainability teams, along with Finance/Accounting, Legal, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, HR, and Procurement as well as other cross-functional company leaders.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, HR Compliance, Risk and Sustainability.
About the role - you will:
Lead and support efforts and specific project activities related to ESG, Social Responsibility and Sustainability, with particular focus on our ESG/Sustainability reporting and disclosures.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Develop and manage the company's sustainability reporting and disclosure roadmap, including planning and preparation for emerging requirements.
- Serve as subject matter expert on GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), CSRD and other ESG reporting frameworks in partnership with internal SMEs and stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end development of annual ESG/Sustainability Report and sustainability disclosure regulatory filings including, but not limited to: CSRD, SEC Climate Disclosure, California climate reporting, and other emerging regulations.
- Maintain CSRD-aligned company Double Materiality Assessment.
- Oversee preparation of CSRD compliance assessment with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize required actions and ensure business readiness.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of, and expertise in, sustainability reporting and serve as company subject matter expert (SME). Monitor and benchmark reporting trends and changes to reporting frameworks and standards to provide insights and recommendations on advancing Seagate’s external reporting practices.
- Partner with key internal functions (e.g., functional SMEs, Finance, Internal Audit, and Legal) to support report assurance and compliance related activities and to strengthen data management, controls and disclosure procedures.
- Train other internal Seagate team members and collaborators on reporting processes, procedures and controls as needed.
- Implement and serve as primary Super User for ESG/CSRD software reporting tools.
- Liaison and facilitate preparation of cross functional responses where needed to ESG related requests and enquiries from external stakeholders.
- Support other ad hoc sustainability and ESG projects and activities as requested.
About you:
- Self-directed, with a strong ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently and escalate when necessary; Experience in multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on capacity, due dates and critical paths.
- Ability to operate in a flexible and agile manner, partnering with and supporting multiple teams in a matrixed environment.
- Must possess detail and process orientation to drive data integrity, consistency, and governance.
Your experience includes:
- Extensive understanding of Sustainability/ESG, specifically Sustainability Reporting, emerging disclosure requirements (e.g. CSRD, ISSB, SEC Climate Disclosure, California climate reporting, and others), ESG ratings, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience building positive, cross-functional partnerships and organizing and problem-solving across multiple functions.
- Extensive experience leading complex global programs and initiatives and collaborating with and influencing at the sr. management level.
- Implementing and managing 3rd party software programs.
- Excellent written communication skills including experience leading complex reporting projects and proven copy-editing skills.
- Microsoft Office products including SharePoint; excellent Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet project management software skills are required.

- Project management certification preferred.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $81,500.00 - $116,600.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
