Job Description
Location: Within Minnesota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin that will be determined based on candidate location and Bremer’s current needs.
As the Senior Credit Analyst, you will provide the highest level analytical support to the Business and Ag Banking departments to ensure client service standards are met and credit presentations and loan documentation are in compliance with applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Senior Credit Analysts are responsible for independently identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex credit problems across several industries.

As the Credit Analyst 3, you will provide high level analytical support to the Business and Ag Banking departments to ensure client service standards are met and credit presentations and loan documentation are in compliance with applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Credit Analysts are responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex credit problems across several industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Include interpreting and analyzing complex financial statements, spreads, and credit information, preparing, and assisting in the formulation of credit presentations and risk management activities.
- Resolves most moderately to highly complex problems independently and some highly complex problems with occasional direction from management. Makes some recommendations regarding credit extensions.
- Demonstrates ability to mentor and advise lower-level credit analysts.
- Fully understands credit request and risk to the bank.
- Makes suggestions regarding loan structure and credit extension.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Senior Credit Analyst:
- Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and 7 years’ experience in Commercial Underwriting.
- Ability to effectively communicate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work complex deals across several industries.
- Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Credit Analyst 3:
- Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and 5 years’ experience in Commercial Underwriting.
- Ability to effectively communicate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work moderate to highly complex deals for across several industries.
- Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
Pay Range
CREDIT ANALYST 3
Pay Type: Exempt/Salaried
Minimum: $60,500.00
Midpoint: $86,500.00
Maximum: $112,400.00
Note: The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, time-off, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST
Pay Type: Exempt/Salaried
Minimum: $80,000.00
Midpoint: $114,400.00
Maximum: $148,700.00
Note: The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, time-off, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
