Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
- Experience presenting to executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stakeholder management experience. Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional partners without direct authority.
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and work as both an individual contributor and within a large cross-functional team.
- Ability to influence through relationship management, business expertise and data knowledge to manage a complex set of issues through executive and staff stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen. Ability to perform initial analysis with limited direction.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to deliver effective presentations to multiple levels of stakeholders.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
Technical Infrastructure (TI) is the backbone of Google - the global data centers, network, and integrating hardware and software that power Google’s products. It is a complex, technical, and rapidly evolving space that continues to see significant growth. As a Financial Analyst you will be an integral finance partner to the rapidly growing TI Teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop and improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. Manage and consolidate all aspects of monthly and quarterly close, support accounting requirements and audit requests.
- Support, manage, and present financial performance in monthly financial reviews. Support annual budgeting process and drive analysis with actionable insights on key spend areas.
- Develop and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to financial metrics around labor resourcing. Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of unexpected variances.
- Collaborate and lead projects with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to TI business partners, accounting, finance, staffing, HR, and engineering teams. Support management team and the TI business partners with data-driven analysis and models.
- Identify automation opportunities to make core processes more efficient and partner with Finance Hub and Automation teams to implement via leveraging Hub, business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
