Senior Financial Analyst (Fully Remote or Hybrid)
This is an opportunity to join the BBN Technologies Finance team in support of the Physical Sciences & Systems (PS2) Business Chowdhury Unit which is a growing business unit with $70M in sales and a portfolio of innovative programs bringing advanced solutions to our customers. The PS2 portfolio of programs includes advancement of Maritime Systems, Sensor Systems, and Quantum Computing and Engineering. The BBN Finance team is a diverse group of individuals with a robust mix of skills and experiences collaborating across the organization to influence optimal business decisions and achieve predictable results. The selected candidate will be accountable for providing financial leadership to the execution and continued growth of PS2.
What You Will Do
- Apply your financial and analytical skills in an energetic and fast-paced environment.
- Be a strategic business advisor who will work with business leaders and many functions within the organization to execute and assess performance against business strategy.
- Support startup and execution of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts utilizing Raytheon financial systems; working with multiple program managers across multiple programs and locations.
- Provide effective communication of key financial metrics through the development of quarterly estimate at complete (EAC), program management reviews, and other project financial deliverables to customers.
- Support estimating and pricing activities within PS2, and support programs with all proposal development and capture activities.
- Provide timely and accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and forecasting to PS2 & BBN Leadership.
- Participate as part of a team in the execution of the monthly sales forecast process, development of annual operating plans and development of the five-year strategic plan.
What You Will Learn
- A deep understanding of all aspects of program controls from startup to closeout.
- A deep understanding of Raytheon financial systems, tools, and processes.
- An understanding of the monthly forecast process, annual operating plan, and long-range plan and potential exposure to the leadership team.
- An understanding of the rate structure, the proposal development process, and pricing tool (ProPricer).
- Collaboration and how to successfully interface and conduct business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain, FP&A etc).
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Proficient Computer Software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (AO/Outlook/PowerPoint/Word) with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work independently, as a team member, and with all levels of management.
- Strong communication/presentation skills: oral and written.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to access US only data systems.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with Financial Systems – SAP / APEX, PRISM, Power BI.
- Demonstrate ability to be proactive, creative, innovative, and use critical and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple commitments as expected.
- Exhibit a leadership quality that entails facilitation, collaboration, and influential communication.
- Proposal development experience (ProPricer).
- Willingness to apply for US government security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
