The Senior Finance Manager, US will be reporting to Senior Finance Director of R&D and Business Development business (based in China), acting as the bridge between head quarter and US local business in finance management front, responsible for delivering solid financial controlling support to Simcere HQ and US local business.
- Serve as the finance lead for forecasting and budget planning for the entire US organization including Boston innovation center and Business development organization;
- Deliver monthly and quarterly Financial consolidations including Senior Management reports and functional financial summaries;
- Build efficiencies into monthly R&D and operation and business development functional reports including content, format, and distribution so to add value to business partners including stakeholder understanding and value of the reports;
- Work closely with cross functional teams in US and HQ to identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies;
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and analyses for key metrics and special projects;
- Forecast annual capital expenditures and facilitate monthly tracking in support of capex forecasting.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years’ experience in Finance/Controlling position;
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry is a strong plus;
- Interpersonal skills with ability to work with others as well as independently;
- Strong competences in accounting;
- Good Computer skill (MS Excel, Power Point, SAP);
- Knowledge of a consolidation system;
- Fluency in English and Chinese both written and oral mandatory;
