Join the Stouffer Legal team as our Technical Business Process Analyst! In this position, you will be a key integrator that will tie together all of our business processes and core functions. You will focus on business process automation, process improvement, planning sprints, and tracking agile epics against company OKRs (objectives and key results). You will take the lead on important research needed to aid in company decision making.
You will also work closely with senior leadership and assist in administrative responsibilities such as drafting meeting agendas, preparing business presentations, responding to emails, scheduling meetings and appointments, flagging action items and taking initiative to complete them.
Our goal is to empower you to take ownership of important tasks and projects as they are generated, which may vary in scope and area of the business.
This job is located in person in Towson, Maryland. The hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and the job is approximately 40 hours per week.
The pay range for the position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience.
Core job duties include:
- Plan each upcoming sprint (two weeks)
- Manage current epics and track against company OKRs (objectives and key results)
- Use GPT to automate recurring processes such as file naming, financial statement analysis, and PDF-to-bank-ledger (with transaction matching)
- Propose process improvements or automations by interviewing/shadowing employees and reviewing documentation
- Create and update written documentation provided to the developer to assist them in understanding the desired outputs
- Develop inventory management, access management, mail, and check management processes
- Review and analyze data including company metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor open tickets for your manager, the developer team, and the marketing team to ensure prompt response time
- Monitor company email and promptly report any outages or concerns
- Provide email support to your direct manager by organizing and responding to emails, scheduling meetings and appointments, and making task lists of action items generated via email (and taking ownership of as many tasks as possible)
- Provide administrative support to assist your manager in preparing for meetings including creating agendas, presentations, and providing feedback on documents
- Assist with miscellaneous requests that require research, scheduling, drafting, summarizing, and communicating in writing or in person.
Functional responsibilities include:
- Prioritization of tasks and responsibilities based on revenue impact to the company or largest time savings
- Email management including flagging and responding to emails
- Updating handbook, policies, and processes
- Project Management Office (PMO)
- Use Shortest Weighted Job First (SWJF) to organize main value streams
Projects to be completed in the first 3 months include:
- Review annual tax season process documentation to identify opportunities to simplify the steps
- Review current Estate Administration processes and documentation to identify opportunities to simplify the steps
- Review and assess workshop numbers to look for trends and anomalies
Our ideal candidate understands process and structure, is able to identify efficiencies and automation, and can prioritize tasks based on impact to revenue and/or time saving opportunities. You love reviewing and analyzing data and performance metrics, and documenting processes. You are very organized, able to keep track of what needs to be done and when, in order to meet objectives.
