Accounting Manager Controllership – Remote

The Job:
As a Accounting Manager Controllership, you’ll be part of the T&O Finance Controllership team. You’ll get to:
- Lead accounting and Controllership activities for North America MAC Tools and Product Service business.
- Facilitate monthly closeout by carefully reviewing complex journal entries.
- Assist with quarterly accounts payable open receipt purge process.
- Support shared service in monthly journal entry and balance sheet reconciliation reviews.
- Partner with business to improve processes and gain strong understanding of subledger and GL.
- Understand and support unique business processes and initiate harmonization of policies with North America T&O.
- Lead finance transformation/process improvement projects – coordinate with various teams to work on special projects with a focus on gaining visibility into GL activity and controls.
- Perform inventory E&O analysis and review inventory scrap requests.
- Support annual physical inventory counts.
- Support annual EY audit by obtaining, tracking, and communicating support from business.
- Support Commercial Controller with ad hoc tasks and analysis as they arise.
- Control owner of quarterly checklists.
The Person:

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required – CPA or MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in auditing, general accounting, controllership and/or other financial roles.
- Must demonstrate drive and willingness to accept responsibility.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel – ability to handle large files with pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to express own ideas as well as develop and elaborate on others ideas.
- Continuous improvement minded.
