Purpose Of Job
The Sr Financial Analyst will be a key partner to the Finance and Operations teams in identifying and reporting the actual values realized from strategic transformation efforts across the enterprise, including supply chain and procurement. Strong focus will be placed on analytic rigor and partnering across Finance and Operations (both internal and external) teams. Output from this role will be shared across the organization, including the Executive Leadership Team.
Job Components
- Provide timely and accurate periodic reporting of actual performance versus planned/forecast expectations and prior year performance. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance leadership to present insightful explanations of variances and recommendations on risks and opportunities to the plan and/or forecasts.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvement. Develop Key Process Indicators to track results to inform key decision-makers and continually improve process outcomes.
- Assist with the evaluation and execution of warehouse lease and build to suit opportunities.
- Develop and update budgets and forecasts related to transformation initiatives.
- Develop robust business models, complex financial analysis, and valuation assessments.
- Own project deliverables, timeline, and success criteria, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Generate other ad hoc analysis, as requested.
- Prepare financial results and decks for Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Coordinate the financial planning cycle including collection, consolidation, preparation, and maintenance of data, models, and schedules related to the planning cycle.
- Execute the annual process for budgeting and quarterly forecasting of Supply Chain Transformation operating expenses, inventory adjustments, and working capital; ensure a detailed level of accuracy; partner with Supply Chain and Finance leadership to ensure alignment across targets.
- Work to identify key risks and opportunities to plan and/or forecasts.
- Identify trends not consistent with plan and/or forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting or finance experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently but also capable of working in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook).
- Experience with SAP and Oracle/JD Edwards E-One is desirable.
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and working with large data sets is preferred.
Work Environment
- Very limited travel, if any.
