Job Description
The PAM Firm is currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper Intern for a 3-month internship that will provide academic credits and/or a stipend after completion.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Skilled Bookkeeper to work closely with the managing owner.
- Primarily tasks will include maintenance of company files, processing transactions, preparing invoices for billing, making General Ledger entries, and participating in month-end and annual close.
- The Bookkeeper will record financial data into general ledgers which are used to produce the balance sheet and income statement.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Should have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), proficiency in Excel, and experience working with Microsoft.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills are required.
- Be open to learning new systems; training will be provided.
