Join us and:
- [MANAGEMENT] Overseeing all aspects of operational accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury
- [CLOSE] Performing a variety of month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations, as well as consolidation and financial reporting
- [PROCESS] Leading the continuous improvement, automation, and documentation of the Company’s accounting policies and procedures, while enhancing controls, improving data quality, and implementing best practices
- [TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING] Acting as a technical accounting lead, coaching the team on technical accounting matters and US GAAP as needed, as well as preparing technical accounting memos
- [AUDIT] Coordinating the year-end external audit by delegating and reviewing audit requests, fielding auditor inquiries, and assisting with financial statement preparation
- [M&A] Assisting with accounting integration for acquired companies as needed, including purchase accounting
- [SYSTEMS] Systems implementation and administration. As a technology company, we believe in continuously improving our finance processes using technology that allows us to work smarter and improve efficiency.
You'll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Certified Public Accountant (required)
- 6+ years of work experience
- Including 2+ years of leadership experience
- Big 4 or Public accounting experience (preferred)
- Reviewing sales arrangements in conjunction with cross-functional departments and preparing ASC 606 revenue analysis to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards
- Developing internal policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and assist with the implementation and administration of revenue accounting systems
- Team-focused leader who accomplishes assigned work while mentoring team members and leading with personal accountability
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to quickly learn new financial systems
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Sense of urgency, hands-on approach, and “go-getter” attitude
