Job Summary
Oversees the financial reporting for GuideStone Funds including the preparation and distribution of the annual and semi-annual reports and other required regulatory filings. Works closely with the third-party fund administrator to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting requirements. Coordinates GuideStone Fund’s audit with the external auditors and fund administrator during its execution and assists in its planning throughout the year. Prepares management and board reporting including profitability studies, fee revenue projections, and expense budgeting. Coordinates the tax reporting for GuideStone Funds and GuideStone Financial Resources and its affiliates.
What You'll Do
- Coordinates preparation and distribution of required SEC filings, including the annual report, the semi-annual report, tailored shareholder reports, and the monthly Form N-PORT and Form N-MFP.
- Coordinates annual audit of GuideStone Funds with the fund administrator and external auditors.
- Assists in preparation and review of GuideStone Fund’s Prospectus.
- Prepares board, management, and ad-hoc reporting & analysis relating to GuideStone Funds.
- Interfaces with portfolio managers to model the economic impact of fund strategies.
- Performs fee revenue and expense analysis and projections.
- Reviews GuideStone Funds’ distribution calculations.
- Assists in preparation of federal and state tax reporting.
- Establishes and manages relationships with fund administrator, auditors, and tax teams.
- Assists with special projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but manages the process and is responsible for indirectly leading and managing cross-functional teams.
What You'll Need
- Master’s Degree and CPA License, preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in audit or tax in the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.
- Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
