Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dispensary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cannabis dispensary. The Dispensary Manager will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise dispensary staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory management processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering any questions or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register balances.
- Implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase customer loyalty.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and inventory control measures.
- Oversee the proper storage and handling of cannabis products to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Manage employee performance, including conducting performance evaluations and addressing any performance or disciplinary issues.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the cannabis industry is highly preferred.
- Strong sales management skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate cash register balances.
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
- Knowledge of state and local regulations pertaining to the sale of cannabis products.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
- Proficient in using technology such as point-of-sale systems, inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Experience in conducting interviews, hiring, and training new employees.
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
