The Senior Accountant position will assist in all phases of accounting for various Crow Holdings entities including, but not limited to, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, reporting, analysis, cash management and general ledger maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily cash activity
- Review accounts payable work and reports, including annual 1099’s process
- Ensure books and records are kept in accordance with required accounting standards
- Oversee cash management functions including monthly cash close, quarterly clearings, and preparing bank reconciliations
- Prepare capital calls and distribution wires
- Prepare tax packages for outside tax firms and annual audit workpapers where necessary
- Assist the team in incorporating various automation initiatives and special projects as needed
- Maintain information in third party software systems (i.e. Concur & Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Work with complex accounting structures and hierarchies
- Reconcile contributions/distributions to monthly capital account statements/year-end K1s
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Teams
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Management Reporter/Financial Reports experience preferred
- Able to multitask and work in a team environment
- Detail oriented; excellent oral and written communication skills
