Inside the Role
The Product Portfolio Manager oversees new product development, manages the lifecycle of existing products, defines a product portfolio strategy, and oversees the overall DTFS USA product governance. The role will also entail the insurance product portfolio and will support special projects and initiatives.
You are asked to manage the process of managing DTFS's product portfolio including insurance products. This includes analyzing, measuring, and optimizing how existing products contribute to broader business goals. It also involves identifying opportunities to expand or enhance the product portfolio. You will create a portfolio product roadmap to evaluate collective performance and ensure activities support upstream business initiatives. You will be responsible for orchestrating the various activities associated with ensuring that a product is delivered that meets users' needs and follows DTFS product policies and guidelines. This position will collaborate across all DTFS and DTNA business units. This role is part of a diverse, agile, and ambitious team, with strong focus on serving our dealers, customers and DTFS as well as DTNA to achieve their desired business goals.
This position will report directly to the Manager of Product Strategy & Revenue Enablement and will be expected to develop reports and plans, analyze risk, make recommendations to management, and oversee the implementation of the solutions.
This is a DTFS Band 92 position.

What You Drive at DTFS:
- Oversee product developments: (30%)
- Generate creative and innovative ideas and concepts for product enhancements in collaboration with DTFS and DTNA functions
- Complete operational and technical requirements and manage product development deadlines
- Assist management in tracking progress on new products
- Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns
- Manage the product lifecycles of the product portfolio: (30%)
- Create product portfolio roadmap to evaluate collective performance and ensure activities support business initiatives and targets
- Set up a product governance function (10%)
- Manage product documentation and guidelines
- Ensure development and existing product portfolio follows DTFS’s product policies and rules
- Ensure consistency among products and deliverables across the entire product portfolio
- Set up a product portfolio strategy (30%)
- Define and track key performance indicators and ensure company products and pricing are aligned with market demands and overall company strategy
- Establish strategies for product pricing, positioning and growth
- Perform profit analysis and forecasting to develop or improve product marketing strategies and initiatives
Knowledge You Should Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in B2B in sales, business development, credit, finance, or business management
- A background with increasing levels of responsibility in marketing, product management and business development or finance
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and dependability
- Adept at managing and maintaining relationships between multifunctional team members and functions
- Project management experience
- Leadership experience
Exceptional Candidates Might Have:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree focusing on business, finance or marketing
