Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information to predict future trends supporting forward-looking forecasts as well as support our pricing efforts by leading the annual pricing process and modeling pricing impacts to determine our optimal rates. This position will play a critical role in supporting various organizational leaders as part of supporting both company insights and budget ownership and can grow with the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyses of business and financial data.
- Evaluates pricing / margin structure and facilitates annual price adjustments.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Support the annual budget process through ownership of various cost categories.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to critically self-review work product is expected.
- Experience assisting business leaders in managing their budget.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Thorough understanding of the principles and methods of data analysis.
- Experience with, and understanding of, project management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP required, and Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred.
