Salary: $69,000/yr
Position Summary: The OOHC Manager is responsible for the management of the Out of Home Care Unit. This position ensures timely and efficient placement of children in licensed out of home care in Circuit 9, Orange, and Osceola Counties. Essential functions include data collection and analysis, monitoring of the Out of Home Care budget to ensure fiscal responsibility, providing support, guidance and direction to the Placement Coordinators/OOHC Specialist and assists with crisis stabilization as needed.
Technical/Functional Expectations:
- Oversight of Licensed Care - Essential Function: This position provides oversight of the children and youth placed in licensed out of home care including ensuring that Medicaid eligibility criteria is met and in obtaining prior authorization for Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care and Group Home Levels.
- Child Specific Outcome Measurements - Essential Function: This position provides oversight of child specific outcome measurement systems, collects, and analyzes data, report trends and participates in the System of Care roundtable.
- Data collection - Essential Function: Develops and implements tools and processes to track critical data elements.
- Over Capacity Waivers - Essential Function: Approves, tracks, and ensures over capacity waiver process complies with FL Administrative Code. Tracks over capacity waivers to ensure compliance and monitors follow on call homes OCW.
- Critical Incident Tracking - Essential Function: Review, log, and provides follow up on all Provider Critical Incident Reports.
- On Call Rotation - Essential Function: Participate in on call rotation to provide timely service for children placed in licensed care.
- Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting, and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

Business Experience:
- Three years’ experience as a supervisor: This is required to appropriately manage out of home care placements in the least restrictive culturally competent setting.
- Strength Based Family Centered Practice Orientation: This is essential to effectively support the System of Care and its values.
- Strong Interpersonal, Presentation, and Organization skills: This is required to effectively partner with various stakeholders and agency staff and train community stakeholders.
- Utilization and Fiscal Management: This is preferred to effectively evaluate levels of care, be fiscally responsible and manage a continuum of services.
- Valid Driver's License - Essential: This is required to travel throughout the county and other locations.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
- MA/MS - Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3 years supervisor experience required.
