The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Business Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team in Buffalo Grove, IL as part of our Home Appliance R&D Team!
The Business Planning Analyst is primarily responsible for coordination of overall business planning including financial and operational management area. In addition, this role works closely with NJ accounting/planning department and facilitates the budget/expense process.
As the job title, you will:
- Accounting:
- Prepare financial reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) and coordinate with the accounting team.
- Analyze and monitor all financial and budget-related items to track and manage all expenses within the budget plan.
- Create daily expense vouchers and serve as a first approver for all invoices for HA R&D Lab.
- Report variance and trend analysis of financial results versus forecast and target using general ledgers.
- Collect budgets and reports for annual business planning and budgeting and communicate with respective teams in the US and HQ.
- Planning and Facility Operation:
- Support HA R&D Lab in administrative matters and coordinate department workshops, events, etc.
- Updating/creating internal policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities for HA R&D Lab.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Inventory Management:
- Tracking all inventories in/out status including approval process.
- Monitor the proper level of inventory retention.
- Conduct all destruction-related processes.
Qualifications:
- Prefer to have knowledge of financial planning & analysis concepts.
- Proactive and confident with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency using MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
