This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GS-7 with a target grade of GS-8 or at the full performance level of GS-8. The minimum salary for grade GS-7 is $51,115; the maximum salary is $66,450. The minimum salary for grade GS-8 is $56,607; the maximum salary is $73,587. One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
For GS-07: Specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level is defined as: acting in a developmental capacity, completing contract reconciliation functions requiring research and analyses of contract and supporting documents; comparison of contractual and payment documents and data; making corrections and or adjustments of accounting data; reconciling and reporting of accounts, ensuring integrity of the contingent liability record, and preparation of an audit trail.
For GS-08: Specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level is defined as: completing contract reconciliation functions requiring research and analyses of contract and supporting documents; comparison of contractual and payment documents and data; making corrections and or adjustments of accounting data; reconciling and reporting of accounts, ensuring integrity of the contingent liability record, and preparation of an audit trail.
GS-07 Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks must meet the time in grade requirement. To be considered for the GS-07, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-06 or higher grade in Federal Service.
GS-08 Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks must meet the time in grade requirement. To be considered for the GS-08, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-07 or higher grade in Federal Service.
