Principal Quality Analyst - Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
- Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
- Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Manufacturing, Production, Quality Assurance, or Military Aircraft Ground Operation with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters.
- Must have Active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
- Minimum 3 years (PR) Preliminary Review Authority is required.
- Ability to make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations, and services.
- Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.
- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.
- Ability to obtain (MRB) Material Review Board Authority within 6 months.
- Excellent problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment implementing solutions to complicated technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree.
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Experience leading Quality activities in an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Experience leading/facilitating Root Cause Corrective Action activities.
Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
