ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking a Technical Control Analyst with a networking and/or SATCOM background in Colorado Springs, CO. This is to support the Wing Information and Communication Support (WICS 2) Technical Control Facility (TCF) requirement at Schriever AFB CO. The TCF operators make quality analyses of communications circuits and channels, monitor network and circuit operations and maintenance functions, recognize and correct deteriorating conditions, restore disrupted communications, provide requested on-call circuits, and take or direct such actions as may be required and practical to provide effective telecommunications services for Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB).
This is a shift work position.
Duties:
Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication networks such as local area (LAN), wide area (WAN) and virtual private networks (VPN), etc. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, etc. Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for both in-house and cloud-based systems. May coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment. May design network or portion of network that includes selection and recommendation of hardware and software packages.
- Provides telecommunications Technical Control Facility (TCF) shift operations and maintenance supporting Schriever satellite communications operations
- Perform TCF circuit monitoring, maintenance, and operation
- Troubleshoot with local, distant end, and DISA for circuit failure isolation and restoral.
- Perform Alt-route of circuits as required.
- Perform COMSEC updates as scheduled
- Provision/re-provision network circuits as required for troubleshooting and mission restoral
- Log job tickets and outages in job reporting tool and Master Station Log (MSL)
- Coordinates and responds to messages from interfacing organizations such as DISA, distant end facilities and other TCFs
- Support all requirements listed within the contract PWS
- Supports the Global Broadcast work center
- Supports the Space Digital Integrated Network
- Supports other contract functional areas as required

Education: Bachelor's degree in an information systems-related field
Experience: 2-4 Years
Security+ certified
Top Secret Clearance
