About This Role
The Principal, QUADS (Quantitative Analytics & Data Science) will manage key solutions in the portfolio of supply chain assessment services and help develop predictive data models to forecast key supply chain metrics. The principal will work with supply chain experts to design data-based solutions that solve complex business challenges at scale and advise supply chain leaders on assessment solutions. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Managing Vice President, Quantitative Analytics & Digital Innovation in Gartner Supply Chain practice.
What You’ll Do
- Leads the management and drives the client utilization of key supply chain assessment solutions (e.g., Hierarchy of Metrics, IDN Benchmarking)
- Develops quantitative models/frameworks and measurements to improve assessments.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver solution roadmaps and identify opportunities to scale solutions/features
- Applies design thinking and user experience principles to build and improve digital assessment solutions that are actionable, high quality, and easy to use
- Supports calls with clients and prospective clients to help them participate in and get value from key assessment services
- Develops strong, predictive data models to forecast supply chain metrics in partnership with supply chain subject matter experts and quantitative experts
- Authors publications based on assessment data trends and forecast analyses
What You’ll Need
- Master’s degree required
- 4-7 years of progressive professional research or consulting experience on managing data-based solutions or data science projects
- Experience with statistical and analytical tools (e.g., Python, SPSS modeler and Power BI)
- Hands-on experience with natural language processing
- Econometric experience or solid grasp of macro-economic and market trends

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD - 106,260 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
