SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Works under general direction to deliver a high-level of competency within the Human Resources Department in assessing and performing analysis of data and preparing data to facilitate the continuous improvement functions of the organization. Strategically and proactively address Human Resources data systems related issues and provide support to expeditiously resolve any challenging issues raised by employees.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops and applies solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity, creativity, and competency in employee system management, data analysis and metric management.
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports; identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Determines type, scope, and purpose of analyses through discussions with management; may lead a team in the effort; works with other analysts and management to complete assigned project work.
- Assists with the analytical agenda for the Human Resources team by identifying and reporting key measures of success for district priority areas; maintains the metrics dashboards for district teams and priority area and ensures the most strategic metrics are reviewed frequently.
- Deals with complex problems and provides solutions that are innovative and ingenious, achieving quality and work process improvements; may ensure that the workgroup’s goals and activities are in synch with and support the broader goals and objectives of the organization.
- Ensures the execution of responsibilities are in accordance with lawful and ethical standards; draws insights into potential issues or opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and metrics.
- Directs and assists in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records, correspondence, and files related to assigned service, activities, and operations; provides for appropriate research and compiles reports, as needed.
- Develops, schedules, implements, monitors and evaluates all programs, projects and operations in area of responsibility including research, data compilation, various statistical, administrative and/or financial reports as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited university or college with a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field; Plus, four (4) years of related human resources experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience totaling eight (8) years. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
