Who is the Carrier Governance Team?The Carrier Governance Team assesses and manages the internal Carrier/Broker components to mitigate risk by ensuring the validity and accuracy of the information we receive and maintain available for HUB.
About the position:The Carrier Governance Team Analyst provides an in-depth analysis and insight into the success and opportunities of the department. This ideal candidate will be experienced in Insurance Accounting, have a comprehensive understanding of carrier regulatory compliance, and possess the ability to analyze, interpret, and report utilizing applicable data.
Carrier Governance Team Analyst Responsibilities:- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
- Complete periodic audits to verify compliance
- Create and maintain recurring reports and analytics
- Advise management on the design and implementation of control activities that reduce risk and add value
- Analyzing and updating existing carrier requests and related documentation
- Accurately and timely complete other assigned tasks and projects
Carrier Governance Team Analyst Qualifications:- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, banking, and finance fields
- Professional certification or BA in Business, Accounting, or related area is preferred
- A well-established understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and controls
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation
- Experience in providing exceptional service and resolutions
- Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge
- Insurance Accounting/Servicing background is preferred
