Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA Ann Arbor seeks a creative and driven professional for the role of Business Process & Data Analyst. The Business Process & Data Analyst performs routine business analyses using various techniques such as statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. The Business Data Analyst also researches best practices and supports developing solutions and recommendations for the aftermarket business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and report business data.
- Leads investigation for process improvement.
- Provide support to team on systems related questions.
- Use large datasets to define KPIs and generate reports.
- Build and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to supervise data.
- Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
- Write queries or data transformation scripts using SQL or Python.
- Build predictive models.
- May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
- Present analysis to leadership and key customers for key decision making.
- Lead projects, develop project plans, and supervise performance.
- Work across multiple functional business areas to bring data together in ways that enable end-to-end business process reporting and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rooted in supply chain standard methodologies.
- BS or BA, preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics.
- Experience with HANA or Snowflake.
- Prefer candidates who have been exposed to a business environment characterized by high-mix, low-volume products.
- Strong data and analytical skills with focus on creating predictive systems and processes to improve business performance.
- Change agent with experience proposing and selling new insights and challenging norms.
- Concise and impactful oral and written communication skills.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
- Data analysis, data warehousing, and data reporting.
- Experience with BI tools and SQL (preferably Power BI) for data visualization and reporting.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and Access.
- Sophisticated Excel capabilities (pivot tables, chart creation, and presentation of data).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Be process-oriented and results-driven, and focused on continuous improvements.
- Candidate must be hard-working, independent, yet a solid team player.
- Creative, innovative and resourceful with a passion for speed, agility, simplification and proactive action.
