Role And Responsibilities
The Sr. Analyst role is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating, and communicating Smartphone business including NCME consolidated financial reporting. Conduct finance operations with customers and the internal sales team as well in order to ensure timely reporting to management.
- Reports to Smartphone Head of Finance for product categories.
- Thorough data analytics, identifies the success of promotions and sales programs and suggests recalibration to improve outcomes.
- Responsible for managing sales deduction forecasts and analyzing P&L for Smartphone product categories.
- Conducts periodic meetings with each account lead to identify trade spend status and aging to ensure performance and achievement of Smartphone business goals.
- Improves sales deduction forecast accuracy and business outlook projection.
- Prepares sales deduction, claims, aging, and other related financial reports to identify the best performance of Smartphone business targets.
- Manages special pricing conditions to support sales and promotion objectives.
- Functions as the focal point to improve communications related to sales deduction, claim, and aging between Headquarters and corresponding SEA team members including senior management.
- Solves moderately complex technical problems and responds to non-standard requests from internal and external customers.
- Responsible for routine or standard technical problems and responds to standard requests from internal and external customers.
- Makes decisions within guidelines and policies.
Skills And Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, finance and forecasting experience highly desired.
- Experience should include telecommunications industry product management or wireless telecommunications position requiring management of financial analysis, budgeting including forecasting techniques, and strategic financial planning.
- Experience in developing presentations using a variety of PC applications methods, including PowerPoint, and spreadsheet software.
- Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges, some language barriers, and project management deadlines.
- May require additional work hours beyond the normal schedule.
- Travel varies depending on position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Excel and Analytical skills
- Oral and written communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally and build key relationships with customers, sales, and PM team.
- Korean Bi-lingual is a plus to interact with HQ team.
