As a Product Analyst at OneRail, you will join a talented team working to transform final-mile logistics and supply chain operations. Your role will be responsible for assisting in product planning, prioritization, and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle for our core platform. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with product managers and engineering to ensure goals and timelines are met. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in product management or related experience as a business analyst, with a preference for experience in logistics or supply chain with reputable transportation tech companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Product Managers to execute the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
- Gather user requirements, market insights, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions with product managers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Oversee the product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
- Champion the user experience, collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points through user research and feedback.
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, prioritize, and document product requirements and user stories.
- Translate business needs and user insights into clear, actionable product specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate the usability and effectiveness of product features through usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and user feedback analysis.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to iterate on product designs and prototypes to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
- Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate on product initiatives, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product management, analysis, and innovation.
- Actively seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance effectiveness and contribute to the success of the product team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- 1-3 years of product management or business analyst experience in SaaS; experience in high-growth and enterprise software highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to align product initiatives with planning and execution.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A deep commitment to understanding and addressing user needs and pain points.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Understanding and appreciation of UX and design principles such as user research/testing, information hierarchy, and common UI.
- Understanding and appreciation of engineering principles, data models, and APIs.
- Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
