Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) G2 office. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled GFEBS SA Analyst to track budgets, review, analyze, and interpret various GFEBS financial documents and reports against established financial metrics. The successful candidate will prepare and process 7600A Support Agreements (SA), facilitate approvals, manage and track SA status, expiration, and updates, and communicate and coordinate with external customers and internal technical and functional staff. Provide POM support, and assist with DTS.
The position is full time on-site at Redstone Arsenal. The position requires working in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Track budgets, review, analyze, and interpret General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) financial documents and reports against established financial metrics.
- Prepare and process 7600A Support Agreements (SA) and facilitate approvals.
- Manage and track SA status, expiration, and updates.
- Communicate and coordinate with external customers and internal technical and functional staff.
- Assist customers with the Defense Travel System (DTS) as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other applications to prepare spreadsheets, statistical reports, briefings, and correspondence, both in draft and final versions for public delivery and/or publication.
- Facilitate internal communication, including coordination and collaboration with all levels of staff.
- Assist with strategic planning, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget formulation under Government direction with federal funds execution in multiple appropriations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Mid-Level GFEBS SA experience in ERP and BI.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with all levels of an organization, including senior military and government civilian personnel.
- Ability to work independently and interact closely with team members for issue resolution, troubleshooting, and solution identification.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data and translate it into easily interpreted reports.
- Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Security Clearance:
- An ACTIVE existing TOP SECRET with SCI security clearance is required.
