SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The position of Construction Project Analyst reports to the Director of Construction and supports the Construction Project Management team. This position is responsible for providing administrative support ensuring a smooth execution of construction projects. Serves as point of contact between project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists Project Managers with daily administrative tasks to include managing and organizing project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date project files and records.
- Tracks project timelines, milestones, deliverables and tracks and monitors contracts expiration and necessary extensions.
- Facilitates communication between project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, prepares Board meeting documents, takes meeting minutes, prepares requisitions, and processes purchase orders and invoices.
- Coordinates logistics for department-related activities, including meetings, site visits, inspections, and project team members travel arrangements and accommodations.
- Assists in monitoring project budgets and expenses, submits Purchase Order Change Request, and collaborates with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identifies and reports potential project schedule risks to the Director of Construction.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Responds to inquiries and requests for information promptly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field PLUS an additional three (3) years of related experience in administrative support roles, preferably in the construction industry. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree=6 years plus required years of experience.
