We are searching for a Wealth Manager to lead our financial planning services for dentists. This requires a desire to become a specialist in all wealth management and financial needs of dentists. You will work closely with a small number of clients in a highly personal and in-depth manner.
Responsibilities
The Highlights:
- Competitive Salary with No Business Development duties.
- Prepare for and present in client meetings in a first chair capacity. You will be leading a team and will be supported by an Associate Wealth Manager.
- Become a subject matter expert in Tax Planning, Cash Flow Management, Student Loan Planning, and Career Planning for Dentists.
- Manage, mentor, and train Associate Wealth Managers on firm processes, technical knowledge, and soft skills.
- Become the main point of contact for all assigned clients. You will be working with clients directly to manage all tasks and maintain excellent client service.
- Ensure client service workflow is strictly followed. Be organized and ensure no task or clients fall between the cracks. Be proactive.
The Details:
- Lead all client meetings. Take ownership of all client needs.
- Oversee new client onboarding. Review and finalize draft recommendations created by Associate Wealth Managers.
- Be proactive on all client needs and requests.
- Execute trades in client portfolios in line with firm portfolio models and client Investment Policy Statements.
- Be point of contact for all client financial needs. You should be an expert in all Financial Planning subject areas and an expert on your clients.
- Answer all incoming client requests and communications within 1 day.
- Ensure all team members are prepared and up-to-date on clients.
- Become an expert in the financial needs of dentists including career path, ownership considerations, tax management techniques, and more.
Requirements
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ Years of Financial Planning and/or Tax Experience
- CFP® Designation. Additional designations like EA or CPA is a plus.
- Ability to reliably commute to our Conshohocken, PA office.
- Excellent communication skills - on the phone, in person, and in writing. Since you’re often the front-line support for our clients, it’s important that you can communicate without errors, promptly, and with ease.
