This field estimating and coordinating position earns a competitive starting salary of up to $60,000 per year + commission on all closed jobs (estimated and sold up to 3%) with expected annual earning potential of $65,000-$80,000 or higher. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTORATION FIELD ESTIMATOR AND PROJECT COORDINATOR
As a Restoration Field Estimator and Project Coordinator, you estimate restoration jobs on-site working to close the job and coordinating job needs with the production manager and field technicians. In this role, you arrive on-site when homeowners, business owners or property managers have had a water, mold or fire loss – assess the damage, work with the customer to estimate the project on-site as needed or obtain insurance information, get work authorizations signed and create job scope for the customer and the field technicians. Prioritizing customer service, you help the production manager to monitor the work from beginning to end once you have sold the job.
You have some knowledge of building materials or the restoration process, as well as experience working closely with customers to articulate needs or job scope recommendations to close the job. You take great pride in helping customers restore their home or property to pre-loss condition and provide exceptional customer service!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTORATION FIELD ESTIMATOR AND PROJECT COORDINATOR
- 1+ years of experience in the industry or a construction-related field
- 1+ years in sales or estimating
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to sketch in Xactimate
- Ability to accurately record information, estimate projects on smart phones and tablet
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods of time (there will be times you will need to set a couple pieces of equipment to stabilize a job before the technicians arrive)
- Training is provided
Water, mold, and odor certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) would be preferred but is not required. Do you have first-class communication and customer service skills? Are you motivated to learn more and improve? Can you effectively communicate to customers and team members? WORK SCHEDULE
This estimating and sales position responds to emergency service calls Monday – Friday as well as being part of the weekend call-out rotation
Compensation: $49,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
