What you'll do...
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools; data analytics and data visualization tools and techniques; existing and upcoming digital applications and systems; technology innovation trends and industry benchmarks; and data governance. Responsibilities include identifying problems, leveraging data to determine root causes, applying information to find solutions, ensuring data quality, and leveraging visualization techniques to create dashboards.
Business Acumen: Possesses knowledge of business case development and problem-solving techniques. Responsibilities include providing recommendations to business stakeholders, developing business cases for projects, and translating business requirements into actionable tasks.
Environmental Protection: Possesses knowledge of environmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include supporting regulatory visits, preparing audit reports, and implementing environmental policies.
Operational Excellence: Possesses knowledge of organizational processes. Responsibilities include explaining operational functions, identifying primary operational functions, and clarifying the role of each department.
Asset Protection & Security: Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, recognizing security breaches, and assisting with the implementation of access control procedures.
Partnership & Collaboration: Possesses knowledge of stakeholder management. Responsibilities include engaging with team members, analyzing stakeholder needs, and responding to requests.
Influential Communication: Possesses knowledge of verbal/nonverbal behaviors. Responsibilities include organizing thoughts, presenting information clearly, and influencing team members to take action.
Employee Health and Safety: Possesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with emergency responders, evaluating facility environments, and enforcing compliance with OSHA standards.
Process Improvement: Possesses knowledge of workflow mapping processes. Responsibilities include defining critical workflows, identifying process problems, and coaching team members in process improvement skills.
Asset Protection Training Delivery: Possesses knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include delivering training content and assisting in the evaluation of training program components.
Risk Management: Possesses knowledge of risk management processes. Responsibilities include producing risk assessment reports, evaluating risk assessment models, and conducting risk assessments.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives; and demonstrating adaptability.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission and values.
Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 1 year of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within relevant fields.
Option 2: 3 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within relevant fields.
2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
1 or More Degreed Certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) or Non-degreed certifications; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
