What you'll do...
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, tools, data analytics, visualization tools, technology innovation trends, and data governance. Responsibilities include identifying problems, leveraging data, ensuring data quality, leveraging visualization techniques, and developing technology-enabled solutions.
Business Acumen: Knowledge of business case development and workflows. Responsibilities include providing recommendations to stakeholders, developing business cases, translating business requirements, and recommending new processes.
Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and regulations. Responsibilities include supporting regulatory visits, interpreting compliance reports, and implementing environmental policies.
Operational Excellence: Knowledge of organizational processes and root cause analysis. Responsibilities include clarifying departmental roles, understanding SOPs, and identifying operational functions.
Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies and safety laws. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, recognizing security breaches, and maintaining asset prevention records.
Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder engagement techniques. Responsibilities include engaging with team members and analyzing stakeholder needs.
Influential Communication: Knowledge of business communication styles. Responsibilities include organizing thoughts, presenting information clearly, and seeking constructive feedback.
Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and emergency evacuation plans. Responsibilities include coordinating with responders, evaluating facility environments, and enforcing compliance.
Process Improvement: Knowledge of workflow mapping and continuous improvement principles. Responsibilities include defining workflows, identifying process problems, and coaching team members.
Asset Protection Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include delivering training content and assisting in training program evaluation.
Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management processes. Responsibilities include producing risk assessment reports and evaluating risk awareness.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives; identifying and communicating goals; and demonstrating adaptability.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company mission and values.
Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 1 year experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain or related field.
Option 2: 3 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain or related field.
2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications...
1 or More Degreed Certifications (e.g., Associate Safety Professional; Certified Safety Professional) or Non-degreed certifications (e.g., Safety Management Specialist; Certified Safety Manager); Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive.
