Position Summary
The primary focus of the Senior Finance Analyst – Clinical Operations is to provide business support by performing value-added financial analysis, financial planning, monthly reporting activities, etc., in order to provide timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders, to support efficient and effective business decisions. You will report to the Finance Director (“FD”) and work closely together with other business leaders of the Clinical division.
Key Responsibilities
- Together with the Finance Director (“FD”), you will provide support in setting the financial direction for the clinical division within the Rockford manufacturing site.
- The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for performing value-added financial analysis, financial planning, monthly reporting activities, etc., to provide timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders, to support efficient and effective business decisions.
- You will also support the business planning and financial forecasting cycles and support the implementation of the financial and operational strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of internal financial reporting and forecasting processes by establishing and maintaining high quality accuracy standards, developing and modifying forecasting templates and tools, automating processes, enhancing reporting system capabilities, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of procedures and controls.
- Develop, implement and maintain a cost management system to ensure operating costs are in line with approved budgets and support ad-hoc financial analysis, formulate recommendations to site leadership team.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- Performs other duties and corporate finance projects as assigned by Manager.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Experience with Finance Business Partnering and preferably within Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain.
- Advanced analytical skills in combination with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Well organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- Advanced and demonstrated proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, work independently and with minimal direction.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field with 3+ years related work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
