Senior Financial Analyst – Full-Time Consultant
Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team of consultants at Vaco. In this role, you will provide expert financial analysis and strategic insights to drive business performance for our clients. You will collaborate closely with a team of permanently employed consultants, leveraging your expertise to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with financial standards.
- Develop and implement financial models to assess business performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide financial insights and support for key business projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.
- Mentor and train junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in consulting or corporate finance.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel and financial software applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
