Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Hybrid Remote.
The role you’ll contribute:
Research and detailed analysis are an integral part of this position. The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the finance manager with reviewing and preparing financial reports; preparing invoice and balance sheet reconciliation for third-party receivables/payables; completing and distributing volume reporting and ad hoc department reports; filing annual tangible property tax and escheatment. May be asked to assist researching income statement or balance sheet issues. Extensive oral and written communication skills and the ability to train other key personnel are essential. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Review preliminary financial statements (prior to submitting to Management) for validity. Follow-up with appropriate personnel on any unusual items. Answer any accounting type questions for Management.
- Prepare complex month-end journal entries and various monthly statements which may include contribution margin reports, break-even analysis, productivity reports, CPV analysis, ancillary reporting, etc.
- Analyze various general ledger accounts, keeping detailed spreadsheets of the account and verifying that accounts were properly stated. Perform monthly reconciliations (cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, bad debt, contractual, etc.)
- Prepare monthly invoices for third-party receivables; reconcile third-party receivable/payable accounts.
- Completion of tangible tax reporting.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
