Our publicly traded, manufacturing client is looking for a Staff Accountant for their Metro Detroit location. The ideal candidate should have a strong acumen in accounting/finance and an eagerness to learn new areas.
Requirements Of The Staff Accountant
- 2+ years experience in Finance/Accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Related field

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Collect, analyze, and report on global inventory, reserves, and service inventory-related balance sheet accounts for management.
- Prepare routine financial reports and quarterly executive review reports.
- Manage the month-end and quarter-end close process to meet regular corporate deliverables, collaborating with service regions in multiple locations to ensure accurate financial reporting and close, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Develop tools to identify risks and opportunities in the forecast, and monitor and report quarter-to-date actual results against the plan and forecast.
- Input all forecast and planning data into the financial reporting system for inventory, ensuring data accuracy in both the system and offline working files.
- Provide support for audits as needed.
