PRIMARY PURPOSE: To audit invoices presented for payment and input data into the accounts payable system; and to ensure that checks and deposits are handled in a timely and accurate manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audits invoices presented for payment; verifies accuracy and proper approvals.
- Inputs vendor/invoice payments into the accounts payable computer system.
- Resolves accounts payable issues with vendors and colleagues.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
One (1) year of accounts payable or related business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
