We are currently seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our high-growth and fast-paced DSO. This position will assist with all elements of the accounting function, including General Ledger accounting, month end reporting, auditing, reconciliations, leasing, and payroll. Strong analytical skills, trend analysis experience, and a solutions-oriented mentality are necessary for success. This role is being added to the team due to tremendous growth; future opportunities for advancement are possible.
Responsibilities:
- Record and review monthly revenue and accounts receivable roll forward for assigned practices
- Perform various month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned
- Perform P&L trend analysis for multiple locations and research any unusual variances and prepare journal entries as needed
- Support the back-office integration of newly acquired locations
- Actively participate in the month, quarter-end and year-end close process ensuring work is completed in accordance with closing schedule and helping with annual audit requests
- Contribute to and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with best practices
- Ad hoc projects or other duties as needed to support the Accounting Department
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrate sense of urgency and works well under pressure
- Proficient in Excel including consistent use of lookups and pivot tables
- Familiarity with US GAAP and internal controls
- Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
- Can work well both independently and on a team
- Proven analytical mind and not afraid to dive deep into the details and solve problems
- Sharp attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited program required
- 2-5 years of general ledger accounting experience including prior multi-location P&L trend analysis and account reconciliations required
- Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel, Word, SharePoint and automated accounting systems
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Work Conditions
- Required to commute to the Plano, TX office four days weekly, Monday - Thursday. Fridays are virtual.
- Ability to maintain a full-time employment schedule of approximately 40 hours per week extended hours may be requested or required
- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Our experienced Support Center team assists dentists with management of non-clinical staffing and human resources, finance and payroll administration, marketing, payor relations, supplies and capital equipment procurement, as well as information systems. With experience and dedicated support from professional management, dental offices are free to focus their attention on providing patient care.
