Sr. Financial Analyst - Investments
We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Investments team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial modeling and analytical support for corporate finance and investment opportunities. The position liaisons with key internal stakeholders to maximize revenue, project cash flows and optimize return on investment. The successful candidate can balance the urgency demanded by customers and internal stakeholders by having a solid understanding of financial modeling, industry fundamentals and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Build financial models to support various types of customer underwriting. Collaborate with sales, financial leadership, and customers as needed, to ensure new deals achieve internal financial thresholds. Apply financial and business acumen to project operational expense and capital expenditure timing.
Coordinate with operational and construction leadership to incorporate current inventory positions and projected inflation impacts into financial analysis.
Coordinate with operational leadership to model business cases for land and power acquisition opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for the Company’s Senior Management Team, current and/or potential investors, and current and/or potential lenders.
Track key customer and financing terms for approved underwritings and compare to actuals following deal completion.
Track macroeconomic and market-specific performance indicators within the real estate market. Assist with collection, synthesis and modeling of forward-looking data in support of strategic initiatives, capital allocation and asset management decisions.
Perform a variety of ad hoc reporting assisting Investment and Capital Markets initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in a commercial finance position.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS office products.
Experience with Yardi, Sales Force, and/or OneStream software is a plus.
Strong work ethic, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
Extremely well-developed analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with individuals at various levels.
Flexible, adaptable and calm under tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Knowledge of the data center and/or real estate industry is a plus.
