We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will integrate business processes to enhance performance and decision support, ensuring compliance with business policies and regulatory requirements. You will recommend and implement technology-based business solutions, conduct research, and document business requirements, processes, and system specifications in collaboration with IT. Additionally, you will provide process improvement, analytical, and reporting services to support business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs, offer solutions, and define project requirements for the ERP strategic project roadmap.
- Recommend change management practices to improve workflow and process integrity.
- Apply systemic thinking to understand the impact of new technologies, business units, or regulatory requirements on core business processes.
- Define, document, design, develop, analyze, and implement technologies related to business functional needs.
- Collaborate with business teams to define business and technical processes that support business goals and initiatives.
- Ensure the quality of application design, project tasks, project completeness, project requirements, application test plans, and adherence to development standards.
- Support day-to-day operations for exception handling and scheduling automated processes according to a fiscal calendar.
- Review business processes and recommend improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
- Develop workflows, reporting, and KPI measurement dashboards to support business goals.
- Analyze business and financial information to determine present and future financial performance for business initiatives and operational decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation, including 1 to 2 years with ERP projects.
- Experience in ERP configuration/implementation of various modules in the O2C workstream, preferably PeopleSoft or Oracle products.
- Proficiency in User Acceptance Testing, process documentation, and business process integration.
- Exposure to IT change management methodologies.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL literacy, with Google Big Query and Looker preferred.
- Ability to develop multiple solutions to moderately complex problems and recommend the best solution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong consultation skills.
