The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Sr. Fundraising Systems Lead, Digital Communications in our National Center office located in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
This strategic leader is responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the digital communications and Salesforce Journeys for Field Campaign. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate, develop, and launch digital communications experiences that cross multiple platforms and teams and align with the company's goals and market needs. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our constituent engagement and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the digital communications product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company's overall business objectives for each campaign.
- Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, features, and enhancements that meet market demands.
- Guide new and existing campaign business lines with e-mail journey development as they integrate into Salesforce marketing.
Product Planning and Road-mapping:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, design, marketing, and field staff, to create and prioritize digital communications roadmaps.
- Ensure designs incorporate Voice of Customer (VoX) and testing with customers is incorporated.
- Define and manage product requirements, user stories, and feature backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Make data-driven decisions to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business impact.
- Ensure marketing automation journeys create an impactful experience for customers.
Product Development and Launch:
- Coordinate with the Development and Technology teams to monitor the end-to-end journey creation from concept to launch, ensuring timelines are met and all journeys are executing properly.
- Be an active partner in decisions around data extraction from source systems, determining process and sending to Salesforce.
Customer Focus and Relationship Building:
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points through direct interactions, feedback analysis, and market insights.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather input and validate product direction.
Performance Tracking and Analytics:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and monitor product performance post-launch.
- Regularly analyze data and user feedback to iterate on product features and optimize user experience.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster transparent communication across departments, ensuring a shared understanding of product strategies, goals, and updates.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to present digital communications plans, status updates, and recommendations.
- Develop compelling visual communications to help foster clarity and collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of the following experience:
- Progressive experience in product management, including a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in using analytics to drive product decisions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools i.e. Jira, Product Board, Figma.
Preferred:
- MBA or related Master's degree
- Industry knowledge and experience in non-profits
- Knowledge of CRM, marketing automation tools, i.e. Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in Event driven businesses i.e. conferences and festivals.
