Job Summary
This Sr. Financial Analyst position will report to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and be responsible for financial planning processes and business decisions through financial analysis, modeling, data analytics, and reporting. This will be accomplished with medium to complex data and financial insights garnered from various types of analyses. The candidate will coach our business leaders through the use of operational business tools, provide topline and line-item insights, and/or lead marketing, operational, and development financial assessments. Analyses produced by this person will be used to make forward-looking decisions affecting sales, profits, team members, and guests. This job is on a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days in office. Must be located in the DFW area.
Your Key Job Functions
- Provide key insights from data analysis to ensure all programs effectively support operational, segment, and functional initiatives.
- Provide analysis, tracking, and reporting of trends in key areas with established performance benchmarks.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Build a variety of financial models to aid analysis, forecasting, projections, and performance monitoring/evaluations.
- Provide guidance and coaching on key business tools used by operations and functional teams.
- Provide financial perspective on product innovation, promotions, pricing, and risks.
- Maximize reporting efficiencies to enable timely and effective analysis of results.
- Review and analyze P&L results vs. expectations and identify operational steps necessary to elevate sales and profitability.
- Determine feasibility of and/or return on existing and proposed programs.
- Proactively search out opportunities for improvement through analysis and report to customers in an organized, easily understood format.
- Act as a key contact for functional teams with special requests for analyses which will be instrumental in key decision-making efforts.

What You Bring to the Team
Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or Economics), MBA a plus.
- 4+ years related work experience.
- Restaurant and/or Retail industry experience preferred, particularly in the areas of operational, menu, marketing, and culinary Finance.
- Oracle EPM/Smartview data mining or administrator experience preferred.
- Ability to work with large data sets, enabling efficient and effective analyses.
- Advanced Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office applications required.
- Tableau and/or SQL experience a plus.
- Ability to create advanced financial models.
- Experience in rapidly growing, fast scaling organizations preferred.
