In this role, you will:
Oversee Data Protection Strategy
- Develop and implement a global data protection strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the organization’s data protection practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Identify and prioritize data protection projects and initiatives based on risk assessments and business impact.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Data Governance:
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and security.
- Define and enforce data classification and handling procedures.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data protection measures are implemented across the organization.
Privacy by Design:
- Advocate for and implement privacy by design principles in all projects and initiatives.
- Work with product development teams to ensure data protection is considered at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new products and services.
Knowledge, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Privacy, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proficiency in data protection tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and data breach response.
- Experience with data protection risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
