Position Summary:
MedInsight is seeking a dynamic and versatile Director of Operations Strategy to oversee and optimize our key business functions, playing a critical role in our growth strategy. The Director of Operations Strategy will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness across MedInsight. This hands-on role offers significant visibility as a key partner to the Chief Business Officer and requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Operations Transformation Initiatives: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for assigned business operations transformation initiatives that align with organizational goals. Lead and manage transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Own Business Agreements: Oversee and optimize the entire lifecycle of business contracts with external and internal parties. Partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to develop, write and negotiate favorable business terms.
- Own Enterprise Analytics: Develop, execute and continuously optimize business data analytic strategies to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee Quality Risk Management: Serve as subject matter expert on Milliman and MedInsight quality risk management policies, requirements and programs.
- People Leadership: Directly supervise 1-5 staff with diverse skills and expertise. Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Other responsibilities and special projects assigned by the Chief Business Officer.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business contractual knowledge and business risk management.
- Knowledge and comfort with AI and automation technologies.
- Strong preference for experience within the healthcare tech or data analytics environment.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
Compensation and Location:
- The salary range is $130,000 - $203,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
